Lucy, more formally known as "Madame Lucille Purrogie" is my lovely step-cat. I adore her and decided she needed a proper celestial patterned pillow to lounge on. I made it two-tone with the pattern on the darker underside. After cutting out the light yellow pattern elements, I attached them with hand embroidery to create a textural "etched" look. I was inspired by her collar and by old alchemist writings and illuminated manuscripts.
